Liam Lunniss is one of the most talked of names to rise from the new generation of choreographers. After a solid commercial dance career, performing with the likes of Katy Perry, One Direction, Whitney Houston, Take That, appearing on shows such as The X Factor, The Brit Awards and Royal Variety Performance and working continuously on TV Commercials and fashion assignments, he has propelled into the creative industry with strong force. His charming innocence and youthful insight to create is incomparable and has been far from unrecognised.
Managed by the largest International dance agency, AMCK, he has staged and choreographed for shows such as the MTV EMA Awards with artists and celebrities such as Will.I.am, Nicki Minaj, Shawn Mendes, Kings of Leon, Charlie XCX, Robin Schulz, Enrique Iglesias, Florence & The Machine, Sia, Samuel L Jackson, David Gandy, Stanley Tucci and Alice Cooper. Liam has also choreographed for feature films, music videos, fashion campaigns and Las Vegas spectaculars. Liam’s extremely versatile background has been desirable in the world of television, working in Milan as the Associate Creative Director and Choreographer for Season 3 of ‘The Voice of Italy’ then on to ‘The Voice UK’ as Choreographer for the Blind Auditions, Battle and Knockout rounds of Season 5, working closely with the contestants and coaches on their performances. Liam was brought in as mentor and movement director on BBC Gareth Malone’s ‘The Choir’, leading both of his choirs to the final. His TV and mentor experience lead him to take on the role of Creative Director on new ITV talent show, Little Big Shots, going on to complete 2 consecutive seasons as creative and choreographer.
2017 was an exciting year for Liam after starting the year working with the Katy Perry team for her BRITs performance. Liam moved straight onto creatively directing and choreographing pop sensation Pixie Lott as well as working with Havana hitmaker Camila Cabello for her debut UK performance of 'Crying in the Club' on Britain's Got Talent.
Liam kicked off summer 2017 in Malta choreographing the come back of MTV The Grind then on to his second year as Main Show Choreographer of MTV Europe Music Awards choreographing for international artist KESHA. In between the two he choreographed his second Season of ITV's Little Big Shots, BBC The Apprentice Advert, Ella Eyre's Music Video and transferred his talents to the world of film as assistant choreographer on the upcoming FOX UK biographical film 'Bohemian Rhapsody'. At the end of 2017 Liam worked as main show movement director for the live interaction show 'Hello World' and created a show stopping performance for Louisa Johnson at Capital FM Jingle Bell Ball.
2018 has already been a promising year for Liam, working with 2 x BRIT Award recipient Dua Lipa on her outstanding BRIT Awards performance of chart-topping hit 'New Rules', Choreographing Louisa Johnson's Summer promo tour and completed his second season as choreographer of MTV The Grind in Malta. Since then Liam has choreographed adverts for SEAT Cupra and AVON Jeanetics Campaign for the second year running.
As time passes and experience grows, what Liam thought were his strengths have only become stronger... From staging Sia, to working beside Nicki Minaj; looking after casts of over 200 for stadium events, to choreographing and conceptualising music videos; drawing up creatives for major worldwide TV series', to putting models into place at Milan Fashion Week; working on feature film sets, to movement direction in fashion film and print… his versatile talent to create is endless.
An international reputation has formed and his roster of clientele is consistently growing. Liam and his path as a respected creative professional has taken shape fast.
