Ida is a professional dancer with an extensive list of credits from music videos to musicals, Finnish National Opera to London Olympics, commercials to stage productions, dancing for artists such as Kylie Minogue, Scissor Sisters, Rizzle Kicks, Jessie J, George Ezra, Tinie Tempah, Bananarama and Mika to name a few.
Ida is also a renowned international yoga and fitness instructor and personal trainer. Ranked as one of London’s top 5 female fitness instructors working in the hottest studios in London: 1Rebel, Blok London, Soho House, Adidas Studios, Fierce Grace Hot Yoga and more. Teaching online for FIIT TV, headlining festivals: Wanderlust, Balance, Big Retreat and consulting studios across the globe.
Ida’s diverse background and passion for exploring movement and performance not just through body but also later through the world of acting has made Ida the movement director and performance coach she is today. She has developed a unique combination of techniques to break down and direct her expansive knowledge of movement, dance, fitness and acting on to the human body for film, TV and live performance.
Ida has an eye for detail and quality: she makes sure the form is on point and technique is flawless. Ida is a very intuitive coach. She has an ability to direct and work with celebrities and A-list stars but also first timers and people with no experience on set. She has an ability to help the performer to feel good, have fun, and to feel comfortable in their body and on set, so that they can bring their best performance, and find the true authentic feeling and movement needed on the day.
As a movement director, Ida has worked with talent such as David Beckham, Little Mix, Sinead Heartnett, Laura Mvula, Natasha Liu Bordizzo and numerous Peloton instructors. Ida also works closely with brands such as Adidas and Peloton.
