Kevin started dancing when he started going to USC business and film schools. He took dance for fun and it came very easy to him - he had taken gymnastics when he was younger, so he was flexible already! Kevin's teacher asked him to join his company after just one semester.
Kevin had planned to travel around the world with a friend, and he waited the good part of year for his friend to get some money together... meanwhile, Kevin had been spending all of his money, and taking classes with his dance teacher... eventually, Kevin ran out of money. He thought, "What can I do? Well, I can dance now!" and when he heard about an audition for an agent, went, signed with them and got his first job the next day!
A year later, he was on the road with Madonna, and a year after that, he signed with a modeling agent. So, in between dance, acting, and choreography jobs, Kevin did print and runway modeling.
Kevin started assisting choreographers as well, after Madonna's tour (where he was assistant choreographer and dance captain), he assisted for Michael Jackson... and the rest is history!
